Wasn't sure what to expect when I tested these out because it feels a little unnatural to have your mouth taped shut, but I found that once they're applied you just kind of forget about it and doze off. It does reduce snoring, which is the main reason for trying this because I plan on travelling, and in a group setting I want to do my best not to bother people. The adhesive sticks well without being overly aggressive when you remove them, and the material feels soft and pliable, which is what makes it comfortable. There are lots of choices around this price point, but I know these work, so happy to pay a couple of dollars more or less without needing to try any others.
These are comfortable and easy to apply. They had a smell when I first took them out the bag but after airing they are fine.
As a lifelong mouth breather, this is a product that I really like. There is plenty of research to prove that it is healthier to breathe through the nose all day and night. Sometimes, we need to train the body to adapt and move towards healthy breathing patterns. The easiest way to start that shift is by taping the mouth at night. Reduced snoring is a nice side-effect.I experimented with some other mouth taping methods and achieved some positive results (for a while). But this new generation of simple tapes has changed the game. A low-cost pack of 60 tapes encourages frequent use that achieves lasting results. The cotton-based materials feel soft and natural. Just fold, peel and stick. After a couple of minutes you don't even notice the patches are there... but your breathing switches and remains stable.Regular nose breathers often lapse into mouth breathing at night. Mouth patches can help correct that.I have found these NOZIBYE patches remain comfortable and stuck-in-place right through the night. No failures. No worries about being unable to breathe. Just gently peel off the patches on waking up. No sticky residue. Just get up and start the day.Since using NOZIBYE mouth tapes, My SmartWatch reports a small boost to oxygen levels overnight. And I now find it easier to maintain nose breathing throughout the day. Win, win!The dimensions of the patches are 7.6 x 3.8 cm, ie about the size of a typical human mouth. Smaller than a teaspoon (see photos). It takes a couple of tries to get the best technique to peel off the backing paper. The patches can be peeled from either end. Or fold them back-and forth a couple of times to start peeling them from the perforated line in the centre. This supplier makes NOZIBYE tape only in Black (ideal for night use). They also offer a range of different pack sizes and some style variations. This brand is one of the cheapest alternatives available. However, NOZIBYE tape is a high quality product. The 60-packs are great value. And they work!
I use mouth tape to assist with nasal breathing as I have sleep apnea and have found this tape to be of excellent quality. It is breathable and has a nice amount of stretch to it. There is enough adhesive bond to last the duration of the night but no issues with removing it in the morning. I would suggest gently pulling back an edge and then using water to assist in removal. The adhesive product used on this tape has not caused any blistering or irritation which is hugely important to me in mouth tape.

I have sleep apnea, and it was recommended to me to use chin straps to prevent mouth breathing during the night. I always found them uncomfortable and a burden to strap on, so this was a breath of fresh air. It takes just a second to apply, and it stays on securely all night, ensuring proper breathing with CPAP therapy. It is hypoallergenic, leaves no sticky residue, and doesn't cause pain when removed. There are a whopping 60 tape strips in this pack, so it should last at least 2 months. The strips are pretty generic pieces of cotton tape, so they can technically be used for other purposes if mouth taping does not work for you. Highly recommend!
These mouth/lip tape strips are a really good size. Others I’ve tried are much smaller and don’t really work/stay on well because of that. The adhesive on these ones is good, stays on but isn’t too sticky, and so far I’ve noticed difference with my mouth breathing. I’ve only been using them a few nights but I’m eager to see how this benefits my overall sleep. I keep them on my night stand and as I’m reading before bed, I open one and place it on my hand skin (as directed) for 2-3 minutes before placing it on my lips. It helps activate the adhesive and stick better throughout the night.I also find when I wake up in the morning, it’s easy to peel off and doesn’t hurt or pull skin as it’s being pulled off.I rate these 5 out of 5 because the directions are clearly written, and easy to follow, and for the durability of the adhesive and it lasting over night
I ordered this Nozibye cotton tape to use as mouth tape when sleeping. It works well and is easy to use. The backing could use some improvement as it is 2 halves that you have to peel separately; I've tried a lot of mouth tapes and they all peel off in one piece so in comparison, this product is slightly annoying in this matter. The tape itself is breathable, stretchy and gentle on the skin, I don't get any rash or side effect from using it. It doesn't leave any residue after. When I peel it off, it does not hurt. There is no odor when having the tape on my mouth. The size is good and standard, should cover most people's mouths. I would order this again.
I am not naturally a mouth breather except sometimes at night. Once started, I will breathe partially through my mouth, and my CPAP will identify it on the Sleep Report shown each morning. When this happens, I use nasal strips and get fair to moderate results. However, when I tried the Black Cotton Tape from the Nozibye Store, the results are definitely more positive with zero complaints from my CPAP.I followed the directions for the Black Cotton Tape to the letter, even pressing my lips together as the instructions recommended. The Tape went on easily, even covering part of my moustache with no problems. I moved my lips since I did not like them being compressed, and that allowed me to let a small breath escape through the cotton strip. Evidently that was fine, and I had a good sleep and a perfect Sleep Report. I have no complaints or recommendations for this Black Cotton Tape other than try them! They work, and are comfortable. Recommended.
My mother has sleep apnea and uses a CPAP machine at night. She has a very small head and face, so even the smallest chin strap on the market doesn’t quite fit her - her mouth still opens during sleep, the CPAP air escapes, and she wakes up with an uncomfortably dry throat. To manage this, she’s been using medical tape to keep her mouth closed, but she only tapes part of it to avoid using too much tape each night. When I came across these mouth tapes, I wondered whether they might be a better option for her.Not knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised the moment I took one out of the packet. The tape is stretchy, breathable, soft, and incredibly lightweight. Before introducing anything new to my mother, especially something she’ll wear overnight, I wanted to test it myself. I’m someone who absolutely cannot tolerate anything restrictive when I sleep - socks, gloves, you name it, they’ll be off by morning because I subconsciously remove them. So I was genuinely amazed by how comfortable these mouth tapes are. They didn’t feel restrictive at all. The tape didn’t irritate my skin, and it didn’t feel tight around my mouth or the surrounding area. It felt… natural. I slept through the night without once feeling the urge to remove it. In the morning, taking it off was easy and completely painless, and my skin had no reaction to the adhesive whatsoever.I noticed some reviewers mentioning a chemical smell, so I paid close attention to this when inspecting and using the product. In my case, there was no detectable smell. It’s possible I’m simply less sensitive to scents, but I personally didn’t notice anything unusual.Overall, I’m extremely happy with this product, and I’m looking forward to introducing my mother to it in the hope that it will give her more comfortable, restful nights.

One member of my household, who normally never sleeps with their mouth open, recently started doing so and was waking up with an extremely dry mouth and just feeling generally uncomfortable. There was no congestion or illness going on, so this felt more like a habit shift than anything else. At their request, we decided it was worth trying mouth tape to see if it helped. The black mouth tape arrived exactly as advertised and was very easy to use. Even with a bit of lip balm on, it stayed in place all night and was gentle to remove in the morning without irritation. Most importantly, it actually worked. They’ve noticed a real improvement in how they feel when they wake up — no more painfully dry mouth and noticeably better sleep quality overall. For anyone unfamiliar with why mouth taping can help: breathing through your nose while you sleep supports better oxygen exchange, helps keep the airway more stable, and can reduce dryness, irritation, and morning discomfort that often comes with mouth breathing. Nasal breathing also helps regulate moisture and temperature of the air you’re breathing in, which can be more comfortable for your throat and mouth overnight. For some people, it can even reduce snoring and improve overall sleep quality. If you’ve noticed you’re waking up with a dry mouth or suspect you’re breathing through your mouth at night and have been considering trying mouth tape, this is a solid option. It’s gentle, effective, and easy to use, and based on our experience, I would absolutely recommend it.
These seem great. I wasn’t able to use them overnight, but that’s my own claustrophobia and not due to the strips themselves. It’s a soft stretchy tape. They come with instructions clarifying how to use the stripes (read it!!! It actually had a lot of info I wouldn’t have done like to stick it on the back of your hand to activate the adhesive for 2-3 seconds before application; or to stretch the tape when you take off the backing and before applying to your face etc).I kept it on maybe 45 minutes and experienced no residue or irritation. I do have sleep apnea so I was hoping it would help keep my mouth shut while I use my cpap and it did - but I couldn’t stand it lol (this is NOT RECOMMENDED in the instructions! Mouth taping can be controversial so do your research and do what’s best for you. This would have worked perfectly for sleep apnea for ME and my situation if I could have handled it).
I got this black cotton mouth tape to use to help me sleep better. I have a CPAP with a nasal mask but at night my mouth opens and air comes right out my mouth. So I thought this would help solve the problem and it does! It works perfectly. The size is big enough to fit around my whole mouth. The strip has a perforated backing so its nice and easy to peel off. The glue on the backing of the strip is strong enough to stay on my mouth all night, but not too strong that it hurts to remove in the morning. I removed it with no pain, no redness, and no residue. It is very similar to some kinesiology tape that I have tried, just in a small patch.
I ordered these even though I have mild sleep apnea and mouth taping is not recommended for me. I tried it out during a nap while my husband was nearby to monitor. Combining the mouth tape with my nasal dilators has been life changing. I also elevated the head of my bed slightly. This combination has made sleep actually restful for the first time in years.I will DEFINITELY continue to use them but I will caution that using only the mouth tape alone would probably not have worked for me because of the sleep apnea. I need the nasal dilators and the elevated sleep position to work together to make sure I get enough air while I sleep. This tape specifically is very comfortable. I was surprised at how easy it was to get used to. The first few minutes were weird but after that it felt really natural. I did look scary to my little one when he woke in the night so if you're up frequently with small kids in the night you may end up wasting a lot of tapes. I am really sensitive to things on my face and my skin is sensitive to adhesives. They were much softer than I expected. I have used them for several nights in a row and have had zero irritation of any kind.
